What is Easter?
As members of the Church how blessed we are to know that Easter celebrates when Jesus, being the Lamb of God, was crucified at passover time and is the true Passover (see 1 Cor. 5:7). He was raised from the grave on the third day thereafter. It thus became a springtime anniversary, and has come to be called Easter in the Christian world. April 2012 General Conference
Members and friends of the Church are invited to participate in the 182nd Annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints which will be held on Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st April 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The sessions of the conference will be available to be listened to or viewed at www.lds.org. In our stake we will be able to attend the Stake Center and view the sessions on the following weekend 7th and 8th of April. The times are shown below in the calendar.
